Sailing Courses

Scotland is a great destination for a sailing course. There are RYA accredited centres for you to hone your sailing skills, but the real beauty of sailing in Scotland is the breathtaking sailing areas. Take a competent crew sailing course or similar and cruise the Western Isles. You’ll be amazed by the scenery and wildlife as well as the clear blue water.

There are many yacht charter companies in Scotland both skippered and bareboat. The area of Largs seems to be a sailing hub with the large sailing club providing RYA sailing courses and many charter companies operate out of here. The Largs sailing club is also home of the Scottish Sailing Institute, promoting Scottish sailing talent.

There are many sailing clubs and sailing schools in Sydney that offer sailing courses. The setting of Sydney harbour is ideal for those looking to learn to sail or hone their skills on a sailing course.If you are looking for an accredited course then look for schools who are part of the joint Royal Yachting Association and Yachting Australia training scheme. You can expect to pay approximately AUS $400 for an 18 hour course

If your sailing skills are plentiful there are loads of yacht charter companies in Sydney harbour.  Prices range from around AUS $700 per day for a 30ft charter yacht to AUS $1450 for a 40ft charter yacht. If your after luxury yacht charters, Sydney won’t dissapoint. POA of course.
